Since 2005 I have worked in a range of professional contexts, including psychiatric inpatient settings, a primary care medical clinic, a home for teens in recovery from commercial sexual exploitation, and my own private counseling practice.

I obtained my graduate degree in Counseling Psychology at the Seattle School of Theology & Psychology (2011), where I studied under Dr. Dan Allender. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the State of Washington (#60287831).

I grew up in Santa Cruz, CA, and have lived in the Pacific Northwest for twenty years. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, and spending time in nature with my wife and children.
